Through pages, I’ve met incredible people from coast to coast—fellow book lovers who remind me that no matter where you’re from, the love of a good read connects us all. Pull up a chair, grab your favorite drink, and let’s get Inkspired together.

Heyyyy! Just a Georgia peach out here juggling motherhood and my ever-growing book obsession. I started seriously reading a couple years ago—mainly to escape these kids, bless their little hearts! But now, chile, I’m hooked, head over heels in love with my authors and their drama-filled worlds. Catch me hiding from my responsibilities, nose deep in a book, whispering, 'Mama needs her me-time!

By day, I champion mental health and social work, infusing education with heart and humor. My passion for reading ignited around the age of nine and has been a lifelong adventure ever since—opening doors to new worlds and ideas. When I’m not immersed in a great book, I’m off jet-setting or whipping up culinary delights, each journey and meal a vibrant chapter in my ongoing story.

Shannon’s been in her book bag for over 20 years—started that summer library hustle at 13, stuffing her backpack like groceries on sale. One flip through Sister Souljah’s The Coldest Winter Ever had her locked into that urban‑fiction life for good. As an OG founder of the Coast2Coast Readers Book Club, she was building squad goals before “BookTok” was even a thing. After a quick “let me catch a vibe” hiatus, she bounced back on her TBR grind with digital journaling on fleek and extra sass to spare. Now she’s on a mission to uplift the flyest urban narratives, women’s fiction, romance, and those phenomenal Black authors rewriting the script.

Listen, I’m not new to this, baby, I’m TRUE to this! Born and raised in St. Louis, I've been on this book hustle since age 10—begging my momma for that Scholastic book fair cash like rent was due. But if I'm honest, my love for reading really came from my daddy tossing newspapers in my face every morning like he was the paperboy.

My first book obsession? Judy Blume’s classic, "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret," but let’s keep it real—my life truly changed when I cracked open Keisha Ervin’s "Me and My Boyfriend." Honey, after that, there was no turning back. My weekends became dedicated to the Big Top Flea Market, swapping gossip and books with other literary queens and urban fiction fanatics.

I've leveled up from flea market shopping sprees to balling out on book boxes, and now I curate book events—because the love for stories never stops, and neither does the hustle. Catch me if you can!

Inspired by the Case House Monaco Masquerade, experience a bold, fashion-forward night. Dress to impress in all black attire, with a pair of fire kicks and a mysterious mask.

Book Event

November 1, 2025 @ 10am-2pm

Saturday morning readers will have the opportunity to purchase signed books and merch, take pictures and engage with the author's as we share in our literary journey’s.

Block Party

November 1, 2025 @ 6pm

We will turn up the energy with a special live celebration of the finale of Dinner, Drinks & Delgatos block party style.

Moo Moos, Mimosas & Margaritas Brunch

November 2, 2025 @ 11am

Enjoy a sweet sendoff full of good vibes, filling brunch & great conversation as we conclude the weekend.
